If you prefer a more sedate way of spending your savings and time, then consider travelling from Currans Hill along Narellan Road, to the tiny area of Struggletown, where you’ll find several shops situated in old homes. One such store is the art gallery home to paintings by renowned Australian artists, another boasts a fine selection of sweets and lollies. And should you over-indulge on the sugar, then on the way back to Currans Hill you’ll pass the aquatic centre, where a water aerobics class is sure to get you huffing and puffing (if not a little sweaty, bearing in mind you’re in the pool).
