Wood deck sealing is different these days than it has been in the not too distant past. * Better Water Repelling Capabilities - Thanks in part to the latest synthetic compounds, the new formulations of wood deck sealers are definitely more effective at repelling water. We all know that water can cause more damage to a home than practically imaginable, especially when left unchecked. Well, thanks to these new formulations, wood deck sealing with the newer sealants keeps the water away through advanced technology. And it keeps the water from penetrating for a longer length of time too, before wearing out.

* Advanced Color Choices - Sometimes when sealing a deck, clear is not the most desirable choice. There have always been options when it comes to adding a little bit of color to your deck, but nothing like there is today. Modern wood deck sealants are available with more tinting choices than ever before, but there’s more than that fact alone - the pigments used to create the colors these days are much more durable. They’ll hold their true color throughout all kinds of weather conditions for years, not just months.

Again, it’s not that the old technology was bad at all. Nope. It’s simply that today’s modern wood deck sealing products take advantage of all of the most recent advancements in technology to make a product that is just far superior in so many ways.
