Following are 14 components you need in a sales letters, sales letter component #1: The headline is at the top of the sales letter. The only purpose of the headline is to grab the reader’s attention.

Sales letter component #3: Use a salutation that addresses the people you want to talk to. It doesn’t just have to be “Dear Friend”.

You have to go from the customer’s point view and why they will benefit from the product. Make sure to also state why you created the product in the first place. What problem were you trying to solve? What issues did you come across that you know your customer would face too?

For example, in my closing I say, “What I want you to do now is grab your wallet or purse and pull out your credit card right now.
