I wonder if you have any ideas as to what might be wrong with my installation(s). I have Access XP and 2007 installed side by side, and am unable to create a pivot table or pivot chart in either version. I can select a suitable data source and choose the view from the menu, but then nothing happens. I don't get the "areas", which I have previously seen, so I know what they look like. When I run the Northwind database and select its pivots, all I get is a completely blank form with the button to switch from pivot table to chart, but in both cases the result is a large blank.

I have tried repairing, to no avail. This stuff once worked, but I have no idea what I did to cause it to cease working. And as usual, the timing is perfect. Now that I need it, I can't make it work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Arthur
