So, you have finally decided to take you solo paintball playing into a whole new level starting your own paintball team. Having your own paintball team is the best way to enjoy the game. There is no better feeling than having a group of your own to win battles and wars on the paintball field. Here is a simple guide to inform you of the basics on how to start a paintball team.
Start by contacting and organizing 5 to 10 players that you are familiar with. You have to trust them in order to make the team. It's not good if you don't trust the person, as might have a rogue in your team. Make sure that all prospects have their own equipment to use.
Play regularly together to have a familiarity with every member's playing style. This is a good way to check the team's chemistry. This is also the best time to assess each member's strengths, weaknesses, and direction of your paintball team. This is also the best time to select your team name and team captain. Design your own team logo and get uniforms. The team captain should be the most organized of all the members. And remember that your best player is necessarily the right team captain. Choose the one who is qualified for the position
Try to get team sponsors. They can provide your team with all the logistic requirements that you may need in the future. In exchange for the sponsorship, you can provide advertisement and image branding. But don't get way over your head on this one. Be realistic on this situation.
Find a regular place to play. It should be a place where it accessible to all members. Try to talk with field owners, ask the owner if you can use their field as your team's home field during paintball games.
