Loud music or noise can affect any living organism including humans and animals. These days the problem of noise has increased to too many folds. Excess of noise in the environment creates noise pollution that has severe consequences if continued for a long period of time. Though we humans are not affected with the noise pollution but animals are affected badly.

Today we have a habit to listen everything at higher decibel but animals are not prone to these and as a result they are affected. We keep pets for numerous reasons but sometimes we forget that the things which seem to be normal for us can affect a lot to our pets. Numerous infections and problems are related with noise pollution.

If dogs are exposed continuously to loud noise then there are chances of hearing loss as well as the chances of other ear related problems. The problem of tinnitus can also persist in dogs due to loud music. Tinnitus is a serious problem that leaves dog from hearing the chirping and buzzing sounds. If not treated in time then there are complete chances that a dog may become deaf. It is better to treat tinnitus in its earlier stage. Consult your vet as soon as you notice that your dog is facing some hearing problem. There are numerous ways to keep your dog away from noise and loud music.

Some of the examples of loud sound and loud noise are gunshots, fireworks, airplanes taking off, loud music system, drilling and numerous such. The bird dogs that are continuously exposed to the sound of gunshots face ear problems at their earlier stage of life. So try to keep your pets away from these types of sound that are not bearable even for humans too. Some types of noise have deep impact on the dog ears. Try not to take your dog to walk at the places where there is more noise like busy roads or near the bus stations. If your house is near airport then provide a room for your dog which is sound proof.

Some other side effects of loud music and noise in dogs are high blood pressure and heart attacks. We all know that dogs are hot blooded. Their heart beats are faster then human beings. Loud music increases the blood pressure in dogs resulting into faster heart beats and sometimes that can result into heart attacks. So these are some of the ill effects of loud music and noise. Always keep your dogs away from loud music and noise for their healthier life.
