Do Courier Companies Offer Twenty-Four Hour Service?

One question that commonly comes up in regards to the various courier services available is whether or not they offer twenty-four hour services. Ultimately, the answer you get is going to vary by where you ask. The Dallas Courier services might say they all do, while the Houston Courier services might say they all don’t. The Fort Worth courier service may say that they do, but with extra fees after a certain time period. In most cases the majority of your courier services should offer twenty-four hour service, and very rarely will they ever end up offering additional or over the top charges as another courier service could gain a huge lead by offering them up cheaper, or even for free.

Twenty-four hour services are a commodity that most would be customers are going to be looking for in a courier service. In almost all cases, the bigger chains of courier services are going to, without a doubt, have twenty-four hour services. Of course, since this is going to be a very easy piece of information to obtain, there really is no reason not to simply look up whether the courier service in question really does or doesn’t have twenty-four hour services. After all, they’re likely going to be displaying this information on the front page of their website. Of course, if you call, whoever you speak to should be able to answer the question with a very simple yes or no.

Smaller courier services aren’t as likely to be offering you twenty-four hour services. This can actually be a plus for you. Because the smaller courier services don’t offer up twenty four hour service, they’re not going to have to employ as many workers; meaning that they might be able to offer up cheaper charges. On the other hand, this could also cause the courier service to get less business then some of the larger chains that are able to offer you twenty-four hour services. If this is the case, then they are, unfortunately, going to have to make up for the decline of customers with increased prices.

If you’re happy with the courier service that you already use, that does offer twenty-four hour services, then you’re probably going to be set. However, if you find that it’s a bit overpriced, then it might not hurt to start looking at the smaller courier services that may not offer twenty-four hour services just for shipments that can be done earlier in the day.
