When you go swimming you need to keep your eyes closed or put goggles on. The reason for this is because of the chemicals or dirt that could be in the water. It just depends on where you are. You need to tell your kids this because their eyes can get infected. You need to tell them to wear goggles at all times so they can see where they are going and so they can see what life is down there. They can also play games with their friends or family.
With everything going into the water, you need to be smart and protect your children to keep them safe from bacteria and dangerous items that can be in there. When you have these symptoms, you need to get to the hospital to get it looked at and so they can get it taken care of.
When you swim in a pool, the chemicals can get in your eyes. It can burn them and make them red and irritated. If you open them and keep them open it can make it to where your eyes are blurry, and it will be hard to see all night long. I know someone who experienced this, and they were scared that their eyes were destroyed. Pool water has chlorine in it and other stuff to help keep the pool and the pool water clean. This will hurt the eyes and make them red, sometimes to the point where they are bloodshot red. You need to wear goggles.
When you swim in the river, the water is dirty with mud, things from the fishes, things from boats, and other stuff that goes in the water. When you go into the water you also need to wear goggles to protect your eyes. If you do not, they can get infected and irritated. They can even swell and close up, and you will have to have a shot to help it go back to normal. You do not want to hurt your eyes because they are very important organs that you have to take care of. When you open them in the water you can feel the burning right away, and your eyes will feel like they are on fire. They will itch and you will feel like you have to rub them. But you do not need to do that because it will make them worse.
